PHS students present the past

PHS students present the past

A group of students from Pontiac High School (PHS) visited the Pontiac Archives on Tuesday, Nov. 12, to present what they learned during their participation in the archaeological dig that took place at a former fur trading post located in Onslow in September. In their presentation, students shared the history of the fur trading post dating back to 1786, as well as a description of the fossils found nearby along the shore of the Ottawa River. Back row, from left, are students Emma Feenstra, Faith Hamilton, Emma Frobel, Laura Graham, Charity Humble and Kage Labombard. Front row from left are PHS guidance counsellor Jo-Anne Brownlee and students Mathijs Mulligan, Griffen Lottes, Carter Gauthier, Gabrielle Keller and Robin Lottes. Photo: Charles Dickson
