Chutes Coulonge is hosting a March Break day camp for Quebec and Ontario students, featuring fire-making, animal tracking, and maple syrup production. For $26 per day, children enjoy snowshoeing, hockey, and outdoor cooking in a nature-filled environment. Space is limited and pre-registration is required.

ESSO Girls Hockey Fun Day - Shawville
Where: Shawville arena, 215 rue Lang
When: 1:30 p.m.
The Esso Fun Day is designed to familiarize girls and women new to hockey with basic skills in a fun, welcoming environment at no cost to the first-time participant. Basic equipment is required to participate on-ice including a CSA-certified hockey helmet, a BNQ-certified neck guard, hockey gloves, elbow protection, knee protection, skates, and a hockey stick.

The Bryson Lions Club will be hosting a Community Dance on Saturday, March 21, 2026, at the Bryson Lions Hall, located at 660 rue Principale, Bryson, Quebec.
Doors open at 8:00 p.m., with dancing running until 1:00 a.m. A bar will be open throughout the evening.
The night will feature live music by Greenwood, with square dancing also included as part of the entertainment. The event is open to residents of Bryson and surrounding communities across the Ottawa Valley and the Pontiac.
Proceeds from the dance will go toward the purchase of a new furnace for the Bryson Lions Hall, helping maintain the hall as a warm and accessible community space year‑round.

Flying Elbows Hockey Tournament - Shawville

When: March 25-28
Teams from across the Ottawa Valley and beyond will descend on Shawville for this annual fundraiser hockey tournament. While the B division has filled up, organizer William Armitage is still looking for teams to compete in the A division.
ESSC spaghetti supper
Where: ESSC cafeteria, 50 chem. de la Chute, Mansfield-et-Pontefract
When: Two seatings starting at 5 p.m. and 7 p.m.
Annual spaghetti supper in support of ESSC’s graduating class. Tickets are priced at $20 for adults and $10 for children aged 12 and under, and are available from the graduating students. A cash bar will also be available on site.

Coronation Hall Pruning Workshop - Bristol

Learn how to properly prune your fruit trees with a workshop in our orchard.
